Intrada’s technicians are available from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST – Monday > Friday to answer any questions or assist with any technical challenges you might be experiencing. Additional times and coverage are available.

PRO-Active was developed at Intrada Technologies to provide a high level of service and response to our commercial clients. Now, this same support is also available for home users in PRO-Active at Home. By removing the traditional reactive response associated with most Computer Consulting Companies, Intrada is able to PRO-Actively support your computer needs while keeping costs down, securing data and providing help when you need it.

For $19.95 a month with a one year contract, Intrada will ensure your home computer and home network is secured, patched and backed up. Additional computers are $6.00 per month so you can protect the entire family.

24/7 Monitoring and Windows Patching
Intrada will install a Help Desk Probe on your computer that will collect all the details to allow monitoring and management of your computer. This same probe will allow easy access to Intrada Help Desk, Remote Control and allow our staff to make sure Windows patches are current. This probe will not send Intrada any personal data or user activity.

Assistance with Hardware & Software questions
Intrada Help Desk is available to help with any questions related to your computer support and new computers and devices. Intrada is not a “Consumer Reports”, but is able to help explain technical specifications and provide suggestions. Intrada Help Desk can also help in the purchase or download of applications. Make sure you are getting a genuine copy and are protected against licensing fraud.

Assistance with Internet Service Providers
Intrada is available to help remove the questions related to Internet Service and setup. Contact the Help Desk with questions related to picking an Internet Service Provider, choosing the right plan for your home, the differences between the plans and what features matter to you. Intrada does not represent any specific Internet Service Providers so, rest assured, our Help Desk is only interested in you having the provider that best meets your needs.

Backups
Intrada Help Desk is available to make sure your data is backed up to your requirements. In the event you need to recover a file, contact the Intrada Help Desk or access the Backup Admin Console directly.

Intrada offers three types of backup solutions to protect your data:

  • Off-Site Cloud using a 3rd party service. This solution offers a monthly fee for unlimited backup. Intrada will setup your backup, but you are responsible to make sure it’s running and working correctly. Intrada Help Desk is available if you have any questions or problems.
  • Off-Site Cloud using Intrada service. Backups are stored at Intrada using the same level of encryption and security protocols used on our commercial accounts. This solution offers a monthly fee per gigabyte and is recommended for only critical files. Intrada technicians monitor and make sure backups are running as required.
  • At Home backups using external hard drives. Intrada will setup your backup, but you are responsible to make sure it’s running and hard drives are rotated. Intrada Help Desk is available if you have any questions or problems.

Our Backup Solutions

Email Setup & Support
Intrada Help Desk is available to assist with any email questions related to the covered computer. This includes accessing your Internet Provider email systems, setting up Google mail or accessing other 3rd party systems. Intrada will work with you to answer the technical question and complete the steps necessary to setup email.

Intrada Help Desk is also available in the event you receive a strange email. Before you open or click on any email, check out the Intrada Knowledgebase on Spishish Emails and how to check.

Intrada Help Desk recommends using Google Mail because of the simple to use web interface and their advanced spam/virus filtering systems.

Fix & Repair any System Errors
Intrada Help Desk is able to correct most operating system errors using a remote connection and running several software tools. In the event the issue can not be resolved remotely, ship the unit to our office and the issue will be resolved and the computer returned within 1 business day plus shipping.

Home Network Support
Intrada Help Desk will help support any related network devices that are required by the covered computer to access the Internet or devices. This includes printers, firewalls, modems, switches and wireless access points. Intrada Help Desk will require these devices to be registered with Intrada including model numbers, serial numbers and passwords.

Onsite support is available at an additional fee
Intrada Help Desk Technicians are available to visit your home to handle any computer requirement. Contact the Help Desk to get an Onsite Support Estimate and to schedule the visit. All visits are scheduled with a 2 hour window during normal business hours.

PC Tune-Up
When computers are running slowly, Intrada Help Desk can run several tools to clean up the performance of your computer. Contact the Intrada Help Desk to schedule a remote connection to clean up your computer and get things back to normal.

Printer Setup & Configuration
Intrada Help Desk will assist in printer setup, configuration and supplies.

Virus, Malware, Spyware Software & Protection
