We are excited to announce that Noah Adams, Systems/Network Specialist, has been selected as Intrada Technologies' very first Employee of the Quarter! Noah's dedication, exceptional work ethic, and positive attitude have made a significant impact on our team and the clients we serve. To celebrate this achievement, we sat down with Noah to learn more about his experiences, insights, and thoughts on being part of the Intrada family.

Intrada Technologies: Can you describe a typical day in your role at Intrada Technologies?

Noah Adams: My day can vary widely depending on what tickets are coming in. Some days are relatively structured, working on tickets at the office, while others throw you curve balls, and you end up having to go on-site unexpectedly to deal with a major issue at a client.

Intrada Technologies: What are the primary responsibilities of your position, and how do they contribute to the success of the company?

Noah Adams: I’m mostly responsible for tier 3 and server/networking support. I get escalated tickets for issues that other techs have run into roadblocks on and must figure out the best path to resolution. I also handle more advanced networking and server issues. On top of that, I’m involved in most of our networking and migration projects to ensure everything is done properly and the project is successful.

Intrada Technologies: What do you enjoy most about working at Intrada Technologies?

Noah Adams: The company shows appreciation for their employees in many different ways, which helps create a positive and supportive work environment.

Intrada Technologies: Are there any challenges you face in your role, and how do you overcome them?

Noah Adams: When tickets get escalated to me, the most obvious solutions have already been tried. I have to work through what’s already been done and figure out the next step. Sometimes this involves combining pieces of multiple potential resolutions into one final fix.

Intrada Technologies: Can you share an example of a recent project or achievement that you are particularly proud of?

Noah Adams: I recently completed a domain controller upgrade project for a client that involved several major infrastructure changes. The project went smoothly and had minimal impact on business operations, even though it was completed during normal working hours.

Intrada Technologies: How do you prioritize and manage your tasks to ensure efficiency and productivity?

Noah Adams: Our ticketing system helps a lot with that. I also make it a point to spend time at the beginning and end of each day reviewing my queue and making sure everything is properly scheduled for the next few days.

Intrada Technologies: What skills or qualities do you believe are essential for excelling in your position?

Noah Adams: Attention to detail is key, along with the ability to communicate technical issues to people who might not understand what you’re asking them to do. Those skills make problem-solving and collaboration much smoother.

Intrada Technologies: How does your role align with Intrada Technologies' overall goals and mission?

Noah Adams: My role focuses on exceeding client expectations by getting to the root of their technical issues and ensuring major projects are executed smoothly with minimal disruption. That directly supports our mission to deliver reliable and effective technology solutions.

Intrada Technologies: What advice would you give to someone aspiring to work in a similar position or industry?

Noah Adams: Don’t limit yourself to one vendor or platform when learning the trade. Businesses use a variety of hardware and software, so being well-rounded will open up more opportunities. Also, don’t underestimate the importance of soft skills like communication. While this job is highly technical, clear communication with clients and coworkers makes everything much easier.
