Giving Thanks at Intrada

A Reason to Pause
We spend most of the year looking ahead. There’s always another project to wrap up, a client who needs a hand, a technical puzzle waiting to be solved, or a deadline circled on the calendar. Someone is usually learning something new, and there’s always another goal just over the next ridge.
That forward motion is part of who we are, and we wouldn’t trade it. But every November, as the last leaves come down and the fields across central Pennsylvania settle in for winter, Thanksgiving gives us a good reason to stop for a minute. We can set aside the planning and the next item on the list and appreciate the people who make all of that work possible.
So this month, that’s exactly what we’re doing.
The People Behind Intrada
No two workdays at Intrada look exactly the same, and neither do the jobs we do. We each bring something different to the team, with our own skills, experience, and responsibilities. What ties it all together is that the work we do rarely happens in a bubble. Different departments and specialties regularly cross paths, giving us opportunities to collaborate, share what we know, and support one another.
That range of expertise is especially valuable because technology itself rarely exists in isolation. A cloud project may involve networking and security, while a website may depend on hosting, DNS, and email. Often, a new solution brings together several people with different specialties, all working toward the same goal.
For our clients, that means benefiting from the experience of an entire team rather than just one person's perspective. We can bring together different areas of expertise, look at how the pieces affect one another, and make sure we're considering the bigger picture.
That same spirit of teamwork carries into the everyday things, too. It's sharing experience with a coworker, passing along something you've learned, catching a detail that helps a project run more smoothly, or lending a hand when someone has a particularly full plate. It's people from different parts of the company working together to take care of our clients, along with all the work happening behind the scenes to keep everything moving. Those contributions are an important part of what makes Intrada work and we're thankful to have a team that shares its knowledge, supports one another, and takes pride in doing the job well.
Appreciating the Everyday Moments
Of course, we're thankful for more than what gets accomplished on a project plan or support ticket.
We're also thankful for the relationships we've built with each other along the way. It's the conversations between projects, the stories about weekend plans, the shared laughs during a busy day, and the friendly banter that make the workday a little more enjoyable.
That camaraderie matters when things get busy, too. Having teammates you can count on means knowing there are people around you who understand the work, bring their own expertise to the table, and are willing to pitch in when an extra hand is needed.
It also means celebrating each other's successes. Whether someone completes a challenging project, earns a new certification, reaches a milestone, or simply has a really good day, there's something special about working alongside people who are willing to recognize one another's accomplishments.
Those moments may seem small compared with the projects and responsibilities that fill our calendars, but they're an important part of our culture. They build trust, strengthen our team, and remind us that while we take our work seriously, we don't always have to take ourselves too seriously.
That's something we're especially thankful for.
Beyond the Office
The Intrada community extends beyond the people we see during the workday.
Behind every member of our team are family members, friends, and loved ones who support them outside of work. We’ve been fortunate to welcome many of them at company gatherings throughout the year, giving us the chance to get to know some of the people who are such an important part of our employees’ lives.
Their support deserves recognition, as well. To the families and friends who are part of the larger Intrada community, thank you.
Thank You to Our Clients and Partners
To our clients and business partners: thank you for your trust. We don’t take it lightly, and we never take it for granted. Some of you have worked with us for years, while other relationships are just beginning. Each one gives us an opportunity to listen, collaborate, solve problems, and better understand the organizations we serve.
We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with our clients and grateful for the opportunity to continue earning that trust year after year. We’re also thankful for the communities we call home. The businesses, organizations, and neighbors throughout our region have given us plenty of reasons to be proud of where we live and work.
Wishing You a Happy Thanksgiving
As we head toward the end of another year, there will always be another project, another challenge, and another goal waiting for us. Before we get there, Thanksgiving gives us a chance to appreciate what we already have.
So, from all of us at Intrada: thank you.
To our team, for the effort and care you bring every day. To our families and friends, for the support you provide outside the office. To our clients and partners, for your continued trust. And to our community, for giving us such a great place to call home.
However you spend the holiday, whether around a crowded table, out in the woods, or on the couch with the parade on TV, we hope it’s filled with good food, good company, and a little time to rest.
Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.
