Network Administrator
Job Description

Intrada is on the search for a network administrator with expertise in Microsoft, VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure, LAN, and WAN technologies. As part of our network support team, you will have direct customer interaction and need to use your leadership qualities to help resolve any network issues they may be facing.

Our network admin team needs someone who is driven to help others achieve success through safe working conditions and high-quality outcomes with an emphasis on security. You should also have experience in network maintenance, installation, and configuration of network components including cabling systems, routers, switches and firewalls. Additionally, you should know common network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, POP, SMTP, DHCP, SFTP, VTP/VLAN, Telnet, and SNMP.
You will need to be able to troubleshoot network issues by using available diagnostic tools; monitor network performance; keep up with the latest networking trends and developments; identify security risks; provide technical guidance; ensure network reliability; create detailed network documentation; collaborate with other teams within the organization; provide technical training to new staff members when needed, etc.

This position is located at our beautiful, rural Muncy, Pennsylvania location in a modern, collaborative office setting. The Networking and Help Desk team are fully on-site to provide support, mentoring, and teamwork opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Develop network systems to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Design, install, and configure network infrastructure including hardware such as virtual environments, desktops, laptops, servers, routers, switches, hubs, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues while providing support for LAN/WAN connectivity.
- Support end users by resolving software, hardware, and network related problems through a company ticket system.
- Perform system upgrades, security review, and backup management on a regular basis.
- Document network changes made and train staff on new network technologies when necessary.
- Maintain an inventory of all installed equipment and ensure remote monitoring and management system is working as intended per client devices.
- Balance multiple projects, tickets, clients, and tasks and prioritize based on customer agreement.
- Provide after-hours pager coverage shared with network team.
- Attending training and safety meetings, and working safely at all times.
Requirements
- Must be able to work safely following company policy & procedures.
- Associate’s degree or higher is preferred, as well as professional experience in information technology troubleshooting, installation, and service. Training is available.
- Able to travel to client sites and lift/carry 35 lbs. – overnight trips only if necessary.
- All employees must pass a drug test and clear a security background check.
